The National Museum of Country Life at Turlough Park, near Castlebar, is home to the National Museum of Ireland Folklife Collection. With exhibitions spread over four floors, see how the people of rural Ireland lived in the 100 years between the Great Famine and the end of the 1950s.

The National Museum of Ireland – Country Life is set in the spectacular grounds of Turlough Park House and surrounded by magnificent gardens and a lake. It is the only branch of the National Museum outside Dublin.
